Following a meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in October 2016, MAG hosted a two-week training course for 34 NPF armoury storekeepers and managers at their HQ in Abuja, FCT State. During the practical phase of the training, the students completed assessments of NPF armouries, including two in the HQ building, and presented their findings to the group.
During this period, the NPF also facilitated the undertaking of six risk assessments by MAG’s Technical Field Manager of their armouries in Abuja. This information has been crucial for MAG in developing the 2017 project work plan, with the partnership with NPF growing in strength.
